Dad & Me Camp at Mingus Mountain
October 25-27, 2019

Research shows that a healthy bond between children and their fathers prevents a host of bad behavioral choices. A strong bond between dads and kids also opens doors of communication. To help build strong bonds between kids and dads, Mingus Mountain Camp will host Dad & Me Camp on October 25-27, 2019. This camp will be a time and space set apart for kids to participate in positive, outdoor activities with their fathers and grandfathers. This camp is specifically designed for children between ages 4 and 18, and their dads and grandfathers.
What will we do? There are hikes, campfires, and projects scheduled, along with the challenge course, great food, and comfortable accommodations. If you, as a dad, feel like you haven’t connected to your child lately, we have the perfect opportunity to make new memories. Grand-dads and kids are welcome, too.
The camp will start on Friday night after dinner and end on Sunday after lunch. Experienced camp leaders, Alan Lewis and John Rees, will lead the camp.
The registration fee is $80 Adults 18+, $50 Children/Youth 5-17 years, children 4 years and under free of charge.
For more information, contact John Rees by email or by calling 702-467-6268.
