Tracey Brown, Site Director

Rev. Ron Bartlow is the (part-time) Director of Camping and Retreat Ministries for the Desert Southwest Conference. Ron grew up in Arizona (mostly… there were a few California years in there!), graduating from Mesa High School and Northern Arizona University (making him a Lumberjackrabbit). Ron has served appointments in United Methodist Churches since 1998; he currently serves as pastor at Trinity Heights United Methodist Church in Flagstaff, AZ. A life-long Star Wars fan, Ron has indicated that if he is unreachable it is because he is either (a) meditating on a desert world or (b) running off on “some damn-fool idealistic crusade.”

Mike Crevelt is the Mingus Mountain Camp and Retreat Center Site Director.
He has been a leader in christian outdoor adventure programs providing adventure activities to youth and adults that challenge the mind, body and spirit.  His passion is to provide transformational camping programs that inspire the camper’s faith in God and service to others.  He is married to Barbara and they have 3 sons.  He runs a few marathons a year to feed his running obsession.

Tracey Brown is the Director for Potosi Pines camp.  She grew up in Methodist camping and says that most all of her significant faith milestones were a direct result of being a part of that ministry. She is passionate about teaching children and youth about the love of God though camping. She previously served the Cal Pac conference where she was involved in youth ministry as well as camping.  Tracey has also served in leadership for the Girl Scouts and YMCA camps in her career working with youth.  She has contributed as a a writer on the 2014 as well as the 2015 Chalice Press camp curriculum.  Tracey is a die-hard Angels baseball fan and always manages to fit in some baseball in a busy summer.
